Essa foi a mensagem desenvolvida pelo departamento americano responsável pelo armazenamento de lixo radioativo. Considerando que este material continuará perigoso pelos próximos 10.000 anos, era preciso passar a idéia de fatalidade para outras gerações e culturas.
O próprio símbolo que nós já sabemos que significa radiação não seria muito eficiente. Tanto que está sendo trocado por este aqui.
